At Celebratee, we believe your memories belong to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
The short version: We collect minimal data (just your email), your photos are automatically deleted after 30 days, and we never sell your information to anyone.

- Photos and videos you upload to events
- Events you create (name, date, location, description)
- Comments and reactions
Automatically Collected
- Device type and operating system (for app compatibility)
- Approximate location (only when you enable geofencing for an event)
- Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Enable you to create events and share photos with guests
- Send you notifications about event activity (if enabled)
- Provide customer support
- Improve and maintain our services
3. Data Retention
Photos and videos are automatically deleted 30 days after your event ends. We recommend downloading any content you want to keep before then.
Account information is retained until you delete your account. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share data with:
- Event participants: Photos you upload are visible to others in the same event
- Service providers: We use trusted services for hosting (Cloudflare), storage (Cloudflare R2), and authentication – they only access data needed to provide their services
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

We take security seriously:
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Photos are stored in secure cloud storage
- We use industry-standard authentication practices
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View your account information in the app settings
- Delete: Delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Download: Download your photos from event galleries
- Opt-out: Disable notifications in your device settings
7. Children's Privacy
Celebratee is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
